What fabrics are used in Maidenform shapewear?

Stretchy spandex is the key fiber in shapewear fabrics, which are sometimes called fajas fabric. The amount of spandex in the fabric varies with the level of compression. Spandex is usually blended with nylon or polyester and sometimes with lace accents, typically stretch nylon lace. Many of our shapewear styles include our Cool Comfort® fabric treatment that wicks moisture away from your skin to keep you cool and comfortable. A number of styles are designed with strategic comfort zones for targeted control. Other fabric details include Stay Put grippers to keep waists from rolling and ensure a worry-free fit, plus a cling-free finish that allows clothes to float over the shapewear effortlessly. You’ll also appreciate that we use a portion of recycled fibers in many of our shapewear styles so you can feel good about wearing them while feeling great about how you look.
